Hello all,
Ive had this kershaw shallot for quite a while now, use it as edc. Tried to sharpen it few times, but my skills in this area are lacking. Since this shallot has XXXX engraved i don't think kershaw will sharpen it.
Where do i get it sharpened?

Learning to sharpen would be your best bet, however since it's a recurve sharpening it is going to be more difficult than sharpening a non-recurved blade. You could also try taking it to a knife show, but be careful that you don't let someone sharpen it with a belt grinder - your recurve will most likely be ground off in a few seconds. Make sure whoever sharpens it does it by hand. You could also find some people online who do sharpening. Apostle P on Youtube is currently running a sharpening business out of his kitchen, and turns out great polished edges, however it may take a few weeks to a month for you to get your knife back.

I'm sure any one of the folks on here who are in the business of sharpening could take care of it easily for you. Whoever is closest to you. You just can't really expect to much in regards to durability with the steel used in that particular knife. After the initial sharpening a double sided strop with black and white compound of some sort will keep the edge up to par.
