The economy has finally hit me where it hurts. Where can I go to privately sell a Koji Hara Airstep and Boker Damascus Limited Edition, that would get me the best exposure? I'd prefer to list in only one place.

Looks to me like you're doing just that here...

Tique, how much is a 'gold' membership? I'm not a dealer, and I don't own more than these two in my collection.

cpirtle, I don't see any photos, descriptions, price, terms or conditions listed in my message. I'll thank you to keep your snyde comments to yourself.

Actually Rovert, this is a serious issue. To advertise a knife for sale on this site, you have to buy a membership for $30. Lots of folks try to find clever ways around that prohibition. There are some other places on the web that still allow free advertising. Good luck

Look, guys, give me a break. It was a simple question, and I mentioned the two types of blades, presuming that it might make a difference as to where to place the ad. Because I didn't know what the rules are, I didn't include any other information, other than that which would enable you to give me some advice.

Let's not read too much into this. I'm sure there are lots of people who do end runs, but I'm not one of them. I'm just looking for the best place to conduct the transaction. Can we please not make more of this than there is?

Regards to all,
RK

Don't ya' just love it when they join up and don't read the rules? I know I do.......

Here is some advice.....read the rules, buy a Gold membership and sell your knives on Blade Forums, the best place to do it.

You might want to try ebay, www.knifeforums.com, or www.knifeauctions.net to sell your knives if you choose not to sell them here. Ebay and knifeauctions will charge a fee. The value of the price of a gold membership here on Bladeforums is more than just getting to use the for sale forum. This is the largest, most technically advanced and best run of knife related forums. Those of us who are gold members recognize that and are willing to support the place that gives us so much pleasure and information. I hope you will consider a gold membership based on all the factors. If not, you are always welcome here as a basic member, just without selling priveleges.
The question has been asked and answered, I am going to close this thread.
