I used to use Ebay but with the IRS now forcing you to report income over $600, I am trying to find ways to bypass this tyrannical government overreach especially since I'm not making a profit off of knives I've got bored with using.

Reddit's "knife swap" forces you to use Paypal Good & Services which means it is reported. You can only use family and friends after 25 sales, which defeats the point for me.

I don't know where else to go. What are the rules here?

You can purchase a membership and sell here.

Read the rules here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/updated-exchange-rules.1646280/

Use of PP G&S is strongly encouraged for the protection provided. Many items are sold via PP F&F, Venmo, Zelle, money orders, personal checks, etc.

If you plan to sell here, best to start with a couple of small items to learn the ropes and start to gain feedback and trust.

So just to be clear.......Are you asking members here how to commit tax fraud? Or are you asking if Paypal G&S is mandatory here?

Gimme a break, he said he's not making a profit, like most of us here. I don't blame him for asking, I'm in the same boat. No matter how you slice it, I will NOT be going over $600 in income from PP a year from now on in relation to my hobbies.

In on one.

No F&F for me.

OP, you can sell here with the right membership. You control the way you want to get paid, but lots of folks won’t pay with F&F.
