I know this gets asked every once in a while.... But where did everyone go?
I kind of frequently take a month or two away from this side of the forum, especially when the real world starts calling and my day job starts pinning me down... But I only see new guys here these days. Post after post of "just getting started, what tools do I need" etc. I see Stacy is still here. What about the other guys?

Hence why I second Chris' suggestion of a business related forum. I feel like I'm not getting my $$ worth even lurking here anymore. I'd prefer to talk about more advanced things and newer ideas than I am seeing these days.

Come on guys, I just got my free time back, a new lathe, a new HT setup and am ready to get back in the shop. Show me some inspirational pieces!! Get me excited about knives again!!

Sorry. Rant. Just miss some of the old conversational topics... Starting to drift toward other waters in the shop these days.
 
The regular crowd is mostly in Shop Talk. ATG and H&T get a bit less traffic these days.

If you just look at the thread names, though, you will see lots of new names....more every day.
