Haven't seen ¥vsa around the forum for a while and am wondering if he's ok.

Yvsa is still around. He came by last Sat. We really enjoyed his visit. I think his back has been giving him fits.

Bless you for passing that on, Sandi.

As for Yvsa, if you are listening, drop us a line now and then.

Talking about medications, last week the cops had an area ( for two blocks every direction ) cordoned off for like six hours. Guy had abreacted to antidepressants and gone paranoid. They got him out and sent him to the state mental hospital. I finally heard about it two or three days ago, and I think I saw him driving around released yesterday.

Point is, I know the guy, had an invite to his wedding a year back, and he ain't the cuckoo type. Got a jackass side to him, but that's about average anyway. Some folks just seem to be missing some chemical compound and if you plug in the right antidepressant it's like adding a vitamin. Everything falls in place.

Plug in a near twin med, and they go raving.
Taper them off of a needed med and they're next thing to being catatonic while still walking talking and functional til someone who knows the symptoms diagnosis a suicide waiting to happen.

Point two is there isn't a thing wrong with their thinking, after the chemical situation is fixed.

Sorry for the off topic tirade, but while I've known lots of weirdos, wet brains, tardive diskinesive, and so on, from street drugs, and dozens struggling with trying one after the other RX drugs til one works right, this is the first guy I know personally who held off a swat team on prescription drugs.

Should have put this in the first post. Far as Yvsa's concerned, I worry about his physical health. ( It was obviously way too late to start worrying about his mental status a very long time ago. Right Bro? )

PS - just went back and looked and it just had to be pill pusher Harry who started the topic. ROTFLMAO

He had his own problems and then the family had some, too. It has been a tough time for him but he's a tough guy and I think he will survive for awhile anyway.

Hang in, bro. I have my own Uncle Style sweatlodge and I'll send up a couple for you as you did for me.

Khukuri FAQ

:
Hi Guys.
Thanks for thinking of me _and the prayers.

We had a trip to PA and it was nice, just froze my coon-dog arse off up there as usual. When a fellers used to 90* weather 70* seems cool and 50* is Cold!!

I had to go back to the pain management doc and had injections in my S.I. joints and both knees.
I have been a new person since then.

Getting close on my regalia too!!
After the Khukri Konvention things shoul get back to normal for me whatever that is.
And you're right Rusty.

Khukuri FAQ

Rusty, just concerned that a respected member of this forum hadn't been heard for awhile so figured I better raise the issue.

¥vsa, nice to hear that things are better. I'm available if you have any questions about your medications.

Harry: good point.Yvsa is indeed a respected member of this forum. For good reasons.

And yes, he is indeed cared about. More precisely, though men seldom say these things, he is cherished and loved because what he truly is comes thru even on the forum. So does Uncle Bill. And so do other forumites.

I like to imagine that sometime back God got radical and went way way out in creating someone, and afterwards decided one like _that_ was much more than enough, so he broke the mold. I look in the mirror, I look at you and Uncle Bill and Yvsa, and sometimes wonder if God shouldn't maybe have broken that mold into even smaller pieces before he reused it.
