Where's dawsonbob?

DB has been having some medical issues, and I have tried to get in touch with him, but I am not sure. He was bouncing in and out of the VA there in San Diego. I fear that his problems have gotten worse.

Keep Bob in ya'lls prayers, he's going througha rough patch, I would imagine.

Doc, I've thought about him too this past week.
He's got some smoke and prayers inbound from Tennessee.
 
As Moose said Bob is going through a rough spot right now. The last time I talked to him he said he had been trying to read and keep up but that writing was just more than he could deal with sometimes. I keep him in my thoughts and I am always just glad when I see him on-line.

He is Viet Nam veteran with a severe thyroid condition, that damn near killed him about 3 months ago. They couldn't find out what the deal was, until one day they stumbled on it, and he started taking meds for it. After the meds, he started doing better and posting more, but last time I talked to him, the VA was wanting to see him more often, and then he kinda fell off the forums. He was getting on and checking, but not posting. Now, I can't get ahold of him.

Glad I found this thread. I was about to put out an MIA on dawsonbob. You know you're family when your gut tells you someone is missing.
 
dawsonbob, whatever's wrong with you, kick its ass, maybe stick a BK-2 in it, get well, and get your butt back on here. I miss you, bro. After all, us old geezers have to stick together (mumbles...."all these damn young whippersnappers......) :grumpy:
