Where's the Khukri info?

I remember seeing something about a ROSarms Khukri a while back. My memory is that the first run hasn't been delivered yet, but it came to mind again when I saw a posting about khukris on the Scrap Yard knife forum -- a Canadian going by the name Unsub posted that he has some on order. Where do I buy a ticket for one and how much are they (with BladeForums discount)?

I sold a few about 3 years ago. Got very positive feedback.

They are too expansive to sell in USA. But dollar is doing better now and I will try bring a few next time.

I am really looking forward to the kukuris. I think that the price I saw would easily be doable for the right market. Once you are used to paying Busse prices something that costs half as much and has a much higher level of fit and finish does not seem so bad.

What's too expensive? I just paid almost $1000 for a custom khukuri with a custom sheath. I'd probably have no issue getting one in the $2-300 range if it's well designed.

Ok! I will order a few for sure :)

Right on Ted I want one as well and so does another buddy who has already got a C2 and now a Cliff.
Here is a teaser photo.

Imagine a 15 inch mirror polished blade with natural micarta handles and the Rosarms fit and finish and even a nice sheath? I have been trying to convince Kankler that we North Americans would pay 300$ for one but I could use some help. It is almost funny because I bet you could sell plenty for 600$ and at 300$ you could probably sell as many as you can get.

Here is another photo. It is hard to see but if you look close you can see the reflection is just as good as on all the Rosarms blades only bigger.

I will take 2 for sure probably a couple extra for my friends as well.

Holy crappin thunder!!

That are the specs on those?!!!!

I love my Baby and still need a Cliff.....but I think the Kuk is my favorite so far and I haven't even held it yet!

All I know is the blade is 15 INCHES!!! and what you see in the pics. I got them off the Russian language site. There were some other cool ones as well.

Have you seen the PIN? It is the thrower and it is amazing. I gave mine to HornDog.
The pin is the full tang one next to the cliff.

The Bayonet is awesome as well.

There is another knife on the russian site like the pin with micarta handles.

I did see those.....I wish there were some at Blade.....certainly would have picked up 1 or 2!!!

I haven't seen ol Vic in awhile....need to drop him a line.

I have an aluminum Cliff in my sites....but this Hurricane has my spending stalled out till the damage is over!

Looks like we MUST order a few Kukries next time.

I promise - we will!

Great to hear kancler!

I can't wait for the kukuris. I want at least 2 probably a couple more for my buds.

I got a leather wrapped Cliff for a friend and it was an amazingly cool knife. The sheath was one of the best production sheaths I have ever seen ,up there with the Chris Reeves sheaths.

kancler, in the mean time, can we get the specs on this one...overall...weight...thickness...etc!!

I have had butterflies in my stomach since I saw this one!

Great photo as well ,the truck endgate sure does a good job of showing how freaking huge it is.

I am really looking forward to this Rosarms Kukuri. The bayonet has the same micarta handle design and it is one of the best handles I have ever held. i have slightly smaller than average hands and the Bayonet has the same perfect feel as a classic single stack 1911. I also really like the micarta and hollow copper rivet construction but it is the ergonomics that really wow me. It is my absolute favorite knife to just hold and play with. I have high hopes for the kukuris handle as well from the photos.

The sheath looks good as well.

When i saw that Kanckler had a new post on this thread I was so damn excited thinking it was the kukuri. Oh well maybe our Canadian dollar will climb back out of the toliet by the time it gets here.
