Where's the RTAK II Love???

I have a couple theories about this:

1. Everyone blew their 'Big Chopper' funds on the Fusion Battle Mistress (and if they got the LE model -- possibly their entire Knife Fund for the year ;) )

2. Everyone else is sitting on a few NIB BK9's after buying them in a panic during Camillus' downfall...

I have an RTAK and keep it close. I "urbanized" mine by removing the finish and polishing out the 1095. I took the clip to a zero edge and cut some notches on the back strap just in front of the scales. Light oil keeps it looking fine. I plan to get the RTAK II ASAP, I really do like the grip ...

Yeah the new handle looks great.

I was planning on taking the coating off mine too -- but it looks kinda neat in the picture, so maybe I'll keep it stock for a while.

BTW, John what did you use to remove the finish -- I was thinking Citristrip...
