I have been out of town since Friday night, just returning this afternoon (Sunday). When I am away, Kim and my wife stay inside because Kathy cannot get Kim out the front door and down the wheelchair ramp by herself. She apparently did not go to the mailbox yesterday, either.

So I drive up and there outside the mailbox, hanging from the flag by a huge rubber band, is a large USPS priority mail box with my Desert Outlaw from Chuck inside. It had been there on a busy street for all the world to see for over 24 hours, including Saturday night no less.

By the way, the wife did not know that this one was coming, so between not having it stolen and getting to it first, I feel very fortunate.

I think I might still have Mikes addy. But, Man that's a long drive! UUUH When are you going out of town again Mike? ;) ;)

That was nice, glad it wasn't 'appropriated'.

The Mailman has done that to me also, he tossed my package on the lawn Sat. morning (Too lazy to get out of the truck), where it landed next to the bushes. Later that day the snow starts, I come home and don't see the knife, it was covered. The only reason I was able to even find it, was while shoveling when I went to toss the Sunday newspaper out of the driveway and it landed in the bushes. In the process of getting the paper, I stepped on the box. Knife was fine but all I kept thinking was how many packages get lost, due to simple stupidity...
