I'm curious to know which 110 2nd Version variation, between variation 1 and variation 2, have you found to be the most elusive?

I think the second version by far. If you find one, as the early knives were users, the etch is worn and hard to see.

Now as 1st Versions go, the etched variation 2 is as scarce as...... they're so scarce I don't even know what to compare it to:D

Am I missing something? I thought the question was about variation 1 and variation 2 of the 2nd Version (fiber spacer). Isn't hkingdom's knife a 1st Version, variation 2?

Here are one of each I dug up this morning.
The front one in the pictures is the 2nd/2nd and the rear 110 in the pictures is a 2nd/1st.
I tried zooming in on the blade pivots.

This closeup below is of the front knife and clearly shows it to be a 2nd/2nd.

This is the closeup of the rear knife below and it shows no blade rivet on the right side making it a 2nd/1st.

I'm not sure if one is harder to find than the other.

Sorry, should have read a little closer.

VERY NICE... I have never seen a version 2 much less have one. Nice couple Stumps.

Stumps those are some fine examples you got there !

I think the hardest one to find is the 2-1 especially when it has the
smaller nail pull making it a very early second version .

Actually, maybe they are both kind of hard to find.

I very rarely see either of them come up for sale.

Stumps, killer photography!!! Wow, super nice 2nd Versions. Is the rocker pin on the 2nd Version, 2nd variation noticebly larger that the 2nd Version 1st variation? Looks it in the pic, but it's also closer in the pic. Thanks for posting the pics!
