Which Anvil should I buy?

I recently found a guy on craigslist who is selling about 15 anvils the two anvils that caught my eye were 1, a 120lbs hay budden with 1-2 small chips but otherwise good condition, and 2, a 150lbs vulcan in near mint condition. All the edges are crist and you cant see any hammer marks. My question is, wich one should I buy. The seller and I have worked out a trade and he is charging the same for both anvils. Iv heard good and bad things about vulcan anvils. Please help

Either will be plenty good for blades & trinkets, But I suggest HB. Its forged construction is superior, probably resale higher too but thats subjective considering the desirabilty of old anvils nowdays.
Fwiw, you may find the Vulcan quieter if thats a concern in your neighborhood.

You never mentioned a price. If it’s priced over $3-$5 a pound I would not buy them. Your getting into new anvil price when you start paying that much per pound.
