Which ASH should join the stable?

I need to get in an ASH order before they close out. Currently, my fusion blades include a DC/magnum tan SFNO, a tan/tan SJTAC, and a tan/tan BATAC. The handles are definitely going to be mag canvas. Should I stick with the tan theme, or should I go with black as a nod to Busse history? If I go DC/black, I have a game warden to keep it company.

Also, how is the pinkie pinch on the ASH1? Is that another historical nod to the original?

pinky pinch ain't too bad. I'm gonna lobby for OD w/ tan canvas mags. it's a dynamite combo, unless you don't like green, in the which DC w/ black mags is a winner.

black/tan mags

and a picture to convince:D

I like the LE over the CG in this one.

I actually think I like the LE better than the SE, and that's sayin' somethin'.

Dude, this is the Busse forum; the answer should be obvious....

Get two of each!

Another vote for the ASH1LE:thumbup: Get one of those and don't look back. They are by far the most comfy of all the ASH1s for me. I normally don't like mags but the thinner stock and the mag handles fit my hand like a glove.

My first was a DC with black canvas mags - which is an awesome choice but i recently recieved an OD with the tan mags. I wasn't big on coated blades before but this one speaks to me... just may be my favorite.

ASH1LE is quite nicely balanced and quick for its size--a winner. CG is much more massive--a very different knife.

On the CG, I like the urban gray coated blade with black micarta mags. The package overall has a very classy silver look, and the urgan gray coated blade I think is just as good looking as DC--with better protection for the steel at a lower price. Another nice thing about the silver gray coating is that it won't show much contrast if it's scratched through to the steel--no "bright" scratches, in other words.
