The blade is satin finish.David Brown said:Looks like a DABA, Desert Anorexic Badger Attack 3 if the blade is coated tan.
Thank you, mguy, I appreciate a good sense of humor...anyway, I am still learning about Busses and especially all the different configurations of Badgers.thatmguy said:It's a fake.
Trade ya an Assault Shaker for it....even up, you don't even have to pony up any boot money....
But seriously, looks like a BA3 satin. I've not seen one before. Nice piece...
if porkkiller is right then you probably have one of about three that were done that way and about 3were in black scalesProgunner said:Don, does it have a swedge grind on it? It looks like it does. If so, I think I know your source. I got one as well. Black canvas slabs on mine. I would describe it as an Anorexic Badger Attack LE with swedge and tan canvas slabs. Very nice piece. Not part of the numbered run that folks had to wrangle for. Custom shop offering seperate from that run would be my guess. Congrats on that one.
Thanks, John...that is exactly the information I was looking for; how to accurately refer to this Badger.Progunner said:Don, does it have a swedge grind on it? It looks like it does. Careful inspection has revealed this Badger does indeed have the swedge grind on top....however, it is not sharpened. I am thinking this would be a way more wicked little knife with the swedge grind section of the top sharpened.idahoskunk said:if porkkiller is right then you probably have one of about three that were done that way and about 3were in black scales![]()

OK...I am going to send it in and have the top edge sharpened (and the bottom edge touched up)....when it gets back I will post pictures of the blood gushing from the thumb I slid down the blade to test it.Progunner said:Don,
Anything to help bud. I bet the shop would be able to hook you up on that sharpening job.![]()
