I consider myself a newb when it comes to survival equipment and i have a few questions about a survial bag to hold all my gear.

What i'm looking for is a bag big enough to hold almost all my gear if that time comes when TSHTF. I would like something big enough to hold a smaller bag of things that should not get wet such as clothing and firestarting tools.

Something that is somewhat water proof would be great. I would also like it to have seperate pockets to seperate the tools, food, and water.

Now is this possible to get for about 100$? If not what is the lowest price you can go. No more than above 150$ if possible.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been beaten to death.:o

Try to find a Becker Patrol. Great design and built like a tank. They retail for $180 but you may be able to find one around $150.

The new Maxpedition Gearslingers are nice. The Monsoon and the Typhoon. One is 1000 cu the other 1600. Both are single strap backpacks that sling over a shoulder and across the chest. Lots of attachments points and a bit less than the Blackhawk and Becker patrol. Closer to $100.00.

You can get some good deals on Kelty backpacks on Ebay for $100.00 and under. I got a Kelty Redwing 3100 for about $75.00 new, its a great pack.
