Which Becker Should I Buy?

I've liked becker knives (to look at :P) for a while but don't yet own one. I've been comparing the Esee 6 and Becker Bk-7 for a while, and wondering if the choil on the Esee might be useful for close up work in a bushcraft/"survival" type use. The Bk-7 is 12.75" and the Esee 6 is 11.75 overall. Then I noticed the Becker Doug Ritter knife which is 11.375, but again would the lack of choil make close up cuts hard? Your experiences appreciated! Or maybe a different option from what I have mentioned, bearing in mind It's the more medium sized knife I'm looking for!

I'd say the Ritter/Becker BK12 is closer to the ESEE 6. The BK7 has a much larger feel than the ESEE 6. All 3 are great... just depends on what you want. The BK12 may be my favorite Becker blade... The ESEE 6 is also excellent though. I don't think it's any more difficult to do fine cuts with the 12 than it is the ESEE 6... if the ESEE 6 is any easier, it seems more like it's due to the shorter blade width and FFG.

You won't go wrong with any of those 3. If I had to make a choice between the BK12 and the ESEE 6... It would be a hard one... and it may just depend on how I'm feeling that day. I like them both a lot.
