Which Becker was your first?

The BK2, the Becker Gateway addiction knife.

And I wanted/needed around a 5 inch heavy, use abuse knife. BK2 was the most affordable and it works great for what I use it for. Some times you do need the shorter blade for heavy use tasks.

Im surprised the BK-2 is the gateway for so many!
I didnt get a BK-2 til recently, then I ended up with two in short order.

Let me think about what I had prior and if I can remember the order:
BK-1, 9, 11, 7, 4, 14, 13, 16, 18, 21, 62, then a 2, 19, 40, 41.

The Campanion just wasnt a high priority for me.

BK-7

Love this knife!

BK10. Fits my preference for a do it all survival knife and sits "at the ready" in new condition.

I’m not positive but I believe the Becker-Reinhart Kukri was my first. The Blackjack made one. Helluva knife! I once cut through the equivalent of a fresh 1X6 pine with one swipe!!! I used that blade a lot logging with my Dad and around the sawmill 😎 In a moment of stupid it got sold off. Now I have several BK21s to remedy that regret!!!!

Bk-10 was my gateway. But I have quite a few now. I really like everyone I have. I was really happy when I was able to fix the uneven grind on my Bk-2 and then make it hair popping sharp. I put a choil on my 7 & 9 and some jimping on some others. I like wide blades, which is why I bought the 10. It's a great all rounder.

Agree entirely on the BK10
