which black autumn boots by 5.11 last longest? i saw thread they wear out in a year..

just not a large choose from my supporter, so it is 5.11, b'coz i didn't like ua design. i need black only. no gunsmoke or some. for edc. sitting in the office, but when the things come bad, i would need to run as fast as i can. thnx
 
Last pair of 511's I bought was a coupla years ago. They're still good to go. The only problem I have with 'em is that they are the side zip and they didn't make the gusset wide enough and you have to unlace 'em to get em on. Or pull em on with a pair of vicegrips. Really? The point of zippers is that you don't have to unlace em! I sent them an email about that and they didn't even bother to respond. I bought Danner Acadia's this year. Otherwise, the 511's are decent boots.

its been my experience that 5.11 boots suck. more like tennis shoes.

the LE model Danners I had broke down in a few months.

Kinda sounds like you want a pair of boots that may not exist, good luck.
