Reading threads about Daryl's Gemini from Walking Dead and I couldn't help but wonder:

Question #1:
What finish is the most likely to show Zombie blood? You wouldn't want to accidentally cut yourself with a infectious knife?

If I had to guess I'd say Desert Sage, but I'm not a hunter so I don't know.

Question #2:

Are the dimples in the competition finish deep enough for biological "goo" to get stuck in? Or are these dimples pretty easy to clean out?

This should work "the best" for coating the blade....

If you are going 3rd party you might as well cerrakote it up. Still, I'm wondering what colors hide/show blood and guts best. (Besides arctic white of course) There's gotta be some hunters on this forum.

Q1- Zombies are not real.

Q2- easy to clean but not as easy as satin.

question #2……really?

I've worked at Bio Safety Level 3 labs for most of my life. Porous materials are a bigger danger than you might think. There is a reason why we autoclave everything.

since supposedly everyone is infected and it's death, not the bite that turns you, the "goo" really doesn't matter. Which also negates which color is best, though I'd think for incognito purposes, I'd go with a darker color.

Nope. I understand simple things like that. My "really?" Was about the question itself.
