Which blade finish is most durable on the ZT300's?

Finally decided on a tough work knife - ZT3 hundred something. I'm not a huge fan of the tiger stripes, but i guess i could live with them if that finish holds up better than the straight black bladed option...Which one is more durable?:confused:
 
I believe the finish is the same except the 301/302 have the coating blasted off in a stripe pattern. IMO, wear on the striped blades would be less noticable and blend in with the stripes better than an all black blade. The finish is very durable though. I use my 301 as a general construction and demolition work knife and the only really noticable scratches are from incorrect sharpening on my part.

I don't see or hear or as many people with the black blades...so maybe that is part of my answer right there...:confused:
 
I have the all black blade and I don't think it's that bad. I do alot of chopping and such and it is very minimal wear. The coating on these is very good compared to some other all black knives I've had. Holds up alot better than BM Imo. I can't speak for the tiger blade I don't own one, but it seems it would hide blemishes more easily.
