I was wondering if you all could post your experience with this. I've read the Ergo handle is more comfortable than the SHBM. The SHBM's blade, from pics, looks to be a bit bigger than the Ergo's. Maybe not length but it just looks like there's more Infi out there on the SHBM's blade. So if you had to do some chopping, which one would you grab?

For cutting performance over comfort, I go to my SHBM first. Just seems to chop better, but isn't the most comfortable. :)

On an average you will get less tired, and get a more comfortable grip on
an E model BM.

That being said, I got lucky and found a Straight Handled BM (one of the first 300)
with a handle that fits my hand like it was made just for me, and it was already a user
so that's the one I grab for working with.

Just one. How is it possible for a .22 to stop a bear attack? ;) :D

Just like in real estate. Location, location, location.

Which BM is a better chopper, that's easy, Bob Mills.... ;) :D

Thanks for the answers. Did Jerry ever post the measurements of the new Fusion Battle Mistress? I was wondering if it had a longer blade than the SHBM or the Ergo. It looks kind of longer in the picture. I'm guessing it will be the best chopper yet.

Thanks for the thread ejskle. That is going to be one awsome knife. My credit Card was screaming while I was reading Jerry's description of it.
