I seem to remember seeing a handful of Buck models that used the Idaho state maker's mark. Does anyone know offhand which models these are/were and which years? Thanks.

I was told in one of the recent threads that it was a 2005 mark for the year they moved. I have one in a Buck 110 so I know that model is included.

I've got several. I think any date-marked blade had that in the 2005 production year.

In 2002 we used the shape of an anvil for our 100th anniversary and that gave us the idea for the Idaho state outline for the year mark for 2005.

It's classy! :D When I am pawing through a dealer's NOS, I always favor either the anvil or the Idaho mark if there's one on a knife I want.

Was there discussion on using California as the 2004 year mark?

It IS classy. Since I discovered Buck's factory is now in Cour D'Alene, I've mentioned it in my friend circles, and alot of people said they'd pay money for one. If you're sitting on a 110 or something with the Idaho mark, I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Payee, Uhhh we happen to like them too . But they're not hard to find as its only 5yrs. ago . It was a special mark . DM
