Which Busse for my first one?

Hello All,

I have been checking out the Busse forum for a while and have decided to go ahead and pick up my first INFI. Only one problem, Which One:confused: I like them all:eek:.
Im looking for a all around chopper/utility knife while out in the woods, camping, etc..
What do you recommend?

Ash - able to get it at the Busse store price in the configuration you like. :thumbup: Better yet, buy 2. Save some shipping since you'll want another after you get the first one.

Yeah, order an ASH-1 direct. You'll never see them for that price again. But really it doesn't matter. Whatever you get first will make you want more. IMO the choppers are what'll make you love the Busse. They out perform everything I've ever used. The corrosion resistance of INFI--a non-stainless steel--is also quite amazing.
 
Ash is a great knife but as an all around knife I go CG BATAC if you have big hands(tac grip is large). If can chop slightly, it's certainly up to batoning and yet is light enough/thin enough to be useful where the ASH can be cumbersome....Just my opinions...However I do have both. On a side note; If I could just have one...FFBM no questions. a pocket knife can pick up the pieces of what it leaves behind.
 
for current availability... go with ASH1

if you want to look around on the exchange, then for user-friendliness as an all-around blade (IMHO), try to find a BATAC
 
You know me .HELLRAZOR or MUDRAZOR . What ever you get you'll have to get more .Let us know what you decide .
 
I have two of them so do yourself a favor and get at least two, It is my Fixed Blade of Choice.
