I have Owned Some Busse and Family knives Over the Years. I Never settled On One I really loved for EDC.

Ignoring The Choppers I have. . . .

I had a Scrapper 6. It Was Nice But A little Bigger for EDC than I Need.

I Had a Mud Puppy from Swamp RAT or Scrap Yard. I liked It but figured Out I prefer Micarta Scales for EDC and Rubber Grips for Dedicated Outdoors knives.

I Had a....Meaner Street I think? All Black knife with Rubber Grips and Infi Steel. It was Nice but I did Not like the Big cut Out on the Front of the blade.

So What I Think I need is.....

something with A Blade abouts 3 1/4" to 4 1/2" long

micarta Grips or G10 grips

no Cut Out in the blade (almost every Busse seems To Have one This will be tough!)

I Would also prefer Satin finish option but This is not a Requirement.

What do You Recommend??

I saw The Retriever Without Blade Cutout and it looked Nice except no Micarta Grips. Did they Ever make a Micarta edition of That model???

The Mini Mean Street in INFI XC can be ordered with no choil. You can pick your handles, blade coating or finish and select choil preference.

Thank you, That Looks Good to me and Would be Easier than hunting An Older model Down on the Exchange. I appreciate Your Assistance.

Its easier than waiting for the exchange but also lots of waiting once you make the order! Haha

Here's a screen shot of the no choil option to tease ya!

Most older models come with sharpening choil, I think it used to be part of the Busse brand identity.

Not everyone is a fan, I like em though. But, you are in luck that mean street is exactly what you are looking for.

I Like a Small cut out for Sharpening Ease, but the Bigger Ones don't Serve me Much purpose. I don't Like the Way gripping a Knife feels when I use them for my Hold on the knife.

It is Good they Offer variety for different Tastes!!

I Will Likely order the Mean Street. It looks to Match my exact specifications Quite well.

Looks like these may be shipping soon, so you may be able to snag one on the exchange if you missed out on the order window...
