I agree that the Badger (BA) should suit you well. Go to Busse's website to see them. There are two models:

Combat Grade (CG) which has various blade coating options and handle color options

Limited Edition (LE) comes with mag Tigerhide Micarta handles and satinfinished blade. This blade will be thicker (fatty) than the CG.
I would recommend the CG for outdoor use. This should be plenty of blade for most general cutting. The price is a great deal considering the old Badger Ergo handle (BA-E) is now selling for upwards of $400. If you find one let me know and I'll take it off your hands

.
You could also look into the two INFI offerings from Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard. You'll need to look for both of them on the Exchange Forum as they are not currently being produced. Both models sport similar narrow blade profiles that are quite different from the Badger.
The SRKW INFIcoot is SWEET. This is one of my favorites. It will run you about $250-$275 without a sheath. There were only about 200 of them made, but they come up for sale/trade once in a while. There were three available a week or so ago. For a pic click here:
http://www.swampshack.com/ and look under special releases.
The Scrap Yard Street Scrapper 4 is also INFI. This has the mudder Res-C handle, which I did not like, but you might. Didn't fit my hand well. Expect to pay about $200 for a new one on the Exchange. For a pic go to:

Good luck with your search. Rest assured that no matter what you pick your picking from the top of the line. You just cannot go wrong with the Busse family.
