Which Busse?

Just when you think you've experienced it all, something new comes along. At the tender young age of nearing 75, two days ago I checked into outpatient surgery to be circumcised.
As I'm lying prepped and waiting, the thought ran through my mind, "If this was going to be done with a Busse, which knife would I choose?" Interesting hypothetical.

One has to be ruled out immediately as too obvious. It is a Swamp Rat, not a Busse Combat anyway. I decided that my Elmax Skinny Active Duty had the greatest sharpness potential as long as the doctor watched out for that choil. No big chopper needed for sure.

Nope ... you’re all wrong. The obvious answer is the Trail Scalpel. C’mon it’s in the name!

Crag: The surgery and the thought that popped into my mind are real, and this forum has often been the home of "which Busse" hypothetical situations.
The post is slightly tongue in cheek to illustrate how fanatical we can be about Busses and how much fun it is.

Sorry to hear about your broken tip. My suggestion is to send it into the shop for a reprofile under warranty. They’re good people up in Wauseon, always willing to lend a helping hand.

I think the WTF is another obvious choice.

I think it's gonna be a lil' ugly

* I also like the notion of the 3 finger as it implies you've lost a digit or two

....at your age, I was hoping it's an excuse for young, pretty nurses to play with your weiner.

If not..?.. I'm Sorry.

.... Our prayers are with you.

I am sure senior hogs will be very knowledgeable about which busse is most suitable.
I just wanna comment on the leftover of the operation, it will make a very nice inlay for leather sheath. You can't get a more personal leather sheath than that :p:D
