Which came first for you - knives or guns?

For me knives... two weeks ago got my first rifle.

I've been interested in Guns since I was in High School, but decided it would be cheaper and less damaging to my marriage if I pursued my knife Collection :D:D

I've had pocket knives since I was about six, but as far as being obsessed goes it was guns for me. Didn't get the fever for knives till this last spring. Now I've spent all my money on knives and am thinking of selling off some guns to buy more knives  I think its easier to justify (to myself) spending $1000 on several knives than on one gun. God help me if I start buying variants. I think I need to step away from the computer :)

"spending $1000 on several knives"

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaaha...........

Just wait:D

You'll be lucky to get one knife at that price:p

Guns....
The most for a rifle....HK PSG1
Shotgun...Merkle 202e
Pistol....Freedom Arms .454 with all the bells and cylinders

I've had a pocket knife for as long as I can remember.
I've been into guns since I was 8, but I got my 1st .22 rifle at
10. And it's been downhill since then.:D I just got heavy into
knives in the last couple years.

The chicken!! Or was it the egg? Oh well, whatever, I'm a gun guy who's finally been bitten by the knife bug. :D

Guns first for me.

Although I have always had a thing for knives, I really began exploring and learning more about knives initially as a back-up weapon to my carry gun. My knife interests have since broadened A LOT, but my primary interest and need for a knife is in combo to a gun (my Glock 30 :D )

For me, knife and gun interest came at about the same time as I hunted with my dad starting around the age of eight. Knife ownership came first. I think I love and value my guns more.

Hey Andrew,
Originally misquoted by Andrew Lynch
Knives. Suppressed guns then invaded...
Hopefully that's not what I was meant to read! ;)

Guns first. Still remember my dad taking me out at age 6 with a little Unique M.52 pistol (.22).

Hell, the only person I had seen shoot then was Lee Marvin in some detective series he was in in the early 60's. The opening scene was him taking aim across his elbow is a cradle position and emptying the cylinder. Soo, that is what I did with all 13 shots. I didn't have another gun day with dad for a couple years.

Better knives started a couple years ago with my purchase of a 5/16 Apprentice Mean Street that still had the front talon hole (drilled oversize though...). Roberson got me hooked.

It has been a slippery slope since then.
