Which canvas sheath will a Rat Mastiff fit in?

Looking for a canvas sheath for my Rat Mastiff, can anyone point me in the right direction? Does it fit in a DogFather sheath nicely?

My Bussed CG Fusion Battle Mistress fits the Dog Father sheath really well. I dont' think the length and thickness will pose a problem, but I have a feeling that the finger guard on the Mastiff's SRT handle may not allow it to fit all the way into the plastic sheath insert. You may be able to cut a piece out of the liner for the guard to fit in. For $20 it's a pretty nice sheath, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy one and if it doesn't work sell it on the exchange. Lots of FBMs and DFs out there without pants. I don't have an RM or I'd try it for you. Wait, just send me your RM and I'll do a test fit.:D:thumbup:
 
It just dawned on me that I've got a FBM in what I would assume is a Dog Father sheath at home somewhere so I'll be able to check later. If the choil and whatnot messes it up is my next option a custom sheath?

Good question. A long Spec-Ops won't work (up to 8" only). You might be able to find a short machete sheath that will work. I did a quick search but came up with nothing great.

If you are going to go the custom route any of the Busse recommended makers are great. I have sheaths from most of them. If you are looking form a cordura drop leg sheath go with Dan Hiriyama at Semper Paratus Tactical. His sheaths have custom molded Kydex inserts and are made incredibly well. You should get years of use (i.e. lifetime) out of one. Good luck.
 
I second the suggestion of Semper Paratus, its a "dream team" between his nylon and Oku's kydex. :)

In most things, you get what you pay for.
