I would like to know who produces CS's knives. Especially the Super Edge knife.. I know that Windlass from India makes their Bushman fixblades. Thanks in advance

I thought the Bushmans were made in China? Their swords (at least the western models), period daggers, and a couple of knives, like the Frontier Bowie and Scottish Dirk are made in India, very probably through Windlass. I have no idea what companies in other countries (China, Taiwan, South Africa, USA [current 4-MAX], and Italy) are making their other stuff.

You are correct sir,it is indeed made in china.just checked my bushman..
On a sidenote,CS please bring back the mini bushman.

Would love to know who is making the 4max here stateside

A lot of CS is made in Taiwan. I don't know the name of the company there. I know the 1917 Frontier bowie is made by Windlass in India. The 1055 steel machetes are made in South Africa.

I kinda wonder if the machetes might be made by Okapi. They're a pretty big South African machete maker, and their machetes use 1055 steel and polypropylene(or wood) handles as well.
