which custom emerson??

i am saving up for a custom emerson, prob a CQC6, but was wondering if emerson made any customs similar to a CQC8 except w/a 4" blade?? must be a tanto, chisel grind, typical emerson......

kinda like a BM 975 i guess.....

I do not know of any Custom Emerson's of the type you describe. The closest would be the Emerson Tanto Production knife - this would meet your specs.

There are two custom Emerson tantos with four inch blades. Each was handmade by Ernie as prototypes for Benchmade to consider when they were interested in a larger tanto. Ultimately Benchmade decided to simply make a larger version of the CQC-7 rather than introduce an entirely new design. I bet they figured that since the CQC-7 was such a huge success for them why not just make a bigger version of a proven seller.
Anyway, there they are. I really love 'em.
