**Which custom folder would you like to see go in to mass production?

Emerson CQC5, CQC6 and Rhino.

All with the Wave as an option.

Regards,

Ed

Ditto the rhino (can't get enough terror), also the various Ryans and HERMAN knives

Tim Herman's carved Sliver

This is really going to happen. Tim and DeltaZ are still sorting things out, but are hoping for production early next year.

CAN a custom knife be put into mass production? It seems that if a custom knife was put into mass production,it would lose its custom feel and quality. Would there be any quality degradation?
of course, what do i know???

the emersons mentioned, with a wave as STANDARD not an option.

steve ryan knives, especialy the one that looks like a spear pointed civilian. that one gives me the willies thinking what it can do. and ont witht the tanto blade but the sharpened curved back.

I would like to see the Lightfoot Magnum 460 with the double ground blade go into production. MT could do wonders with this one also.

How does a Emerson CQC5 and Rhino look like? Are there pics on the internet? Please post urls.

The one I'm waiting for is the Outdoor Edge/Ray Appleton COSMOS, it was supposed to be released last year.

Next, is Tim Herman's colaboration with DeltaZ.

I don't know any other way to own a knife designed by these makers.

For one ...

Allen Elishewitz Prodigy. It's a sensible-size Wharncliffe blade (3.25") folder. Allen works with Benchmade, and this would be a good model to make as a Mono-Lock, which is one of Allen's options from his custom shop.

Allen's original is hollow-ground, and Benchmade is a flat-grinding shop, but it would also work fine flat-ground all the way up to the spine.

Nonbox, There may be one on Lightfoots website, I will have to check. I saw this knife in one of the mags. I believe it was Blade Magazine. It is not a fancy knife, just a straightforward no nonsense looking knife.

I just remember thinking how neat this knife would look if done by MT.

More Whitewing folders in CPM-3V, enough to get the price down some more :^) The double blade Surveyor looks nice as it has a small blade, although the trapper is nice too, and a large stock type double end jack with a sheepfoot instead of a spey would be nice. A large four blade utility in CPM-3V would also be handy; a SAK with a blade that held an edge :^)

The Ryan BIOHAZARD, preferably with a blade stretched to around 6"
