Which Custom maker Makes the best survival Knives?

This is a lot like asking who is the most beautiful woman in the world (send URLs or GIF/JPEGs with your opinions please, and I will decide thank you...). It all depends on what it is going to be called on to do, and that depends on two things...

1. The actual survival situation
2. Your own abilities and techniques.

All agree that some sort of chopping ability, greater or lesser, is to be desired. If you don't have that in another tool, then you need it in your knife. All your other choices diverge from that point from what I can see.

I am not a survival/tactical knife type guy. But when I leave next week on a canoe trip, I'm taking a Tim Wegner designed- Phil Boguszewski custom pro hunter in 440V steel. Word is a factory production version may soon be in the works?
