Which Do You Like Better Your ZT0200 Or Your 030x....And Why...

I'm getting a ZT 0200 in the mail today. I bought the 0200 because I like the blade shape and

the ergos of the handle better than than the 030x.

Question for guys that have both the 0200 and the 030x: which knife do you like beter for a

heavy duty knife and why?

Guys with only a 0200 or only a 030x why do you like your knife ?
 
Handle ergonomics and blade shape. The 30x series is just too fat near the tip for me. Not that I've ever needed to stab something, but I like my knives a little pointier.
I also thought the handle was signficantly more comfortable on the 200 than the 300. The handle on the 300 was just too wide it's entire length. The 200 has that taper towards the front that fits my hand nicely.
I ended up selling/trading the two 30x I owned, but still have the two 200s.
 
I have a 0200, and it is nice and overbuilt. It has decent blade steel, holds an edge just fine, and has amazing ergos. i could only give higher praise to the spec bump. as far as i am concerned, it is totally worth the investment. the ZT 0300 gives you the advantages of a titanium framelock, better blade steel, and a wider blade, but i can't speak to ergos. if i had a choice and i had to pay for it, i would go with the 0200. if i did not have to pay, i would get both. :D
 
I have a 0200 and a 0350......I like the 0200, but carry the 0350. I do plan on buying a 030X soon.

For EDC I find the 0200 too big when the 0350 can do anything the 0200 can do in real life situations.
 
I've had both, but now have only the 0200. To be fair, I'm simply not a fan of the titanium handle/G-10 handle construction. The ZT0200 is a great knife. I love evrything about it. I've found the 154CM to have a great edge that it holds for quite a while. Many don't like the recurve, but I don't mind it. I use a Sharpmaker for sharpening, and it sharpens the ZT0200 just fine. If Kershaw were to ever offer the ZT0300 series in all titanium handles I would definately have one!!
 
I got my ZT 0200 yesterday's mail...all I can say is WOW. What a great knife. I was carrying my ZT 0551 most of the time but I think thats going to change for a while

anyway. I don't mind the weight but I do notice the size more than the 0551. I like the flipper on the 0200 better than the thumbstud on the 0551 for opening....

The handle is the most ergonomic and comfortable I have on any of my knives. I like big knives and this one is Fantastic!!
 
I have both and I did have a hard time deciding which one I like better. I really seesawed between both when I first got them but the 301 just slowly edged out the 200 as time went on. The 200 actually felt a bit better at first and I liked the pointier blade shape but as time went on the 301 just started to feel like a more refined design in my hands.
