I was just wondering between these two which you like better. nothing tougher than boxes. mainly which do you like the looks of better. of course I know I can get a custom for this price and I have plenty but I was just interested in one of these two. I did not really want both. if you don't like either that does not really pertain to me since I like both and cannot decide! they are different from another but either will do the task at hand. I am kind of thinking the wh is too much "jewelry" like most of them. the boker is handsome and a good deal bigger. I don't know, you decide for me please! this is the first time in like ten years I did not know exactly which knife I wanted.

it won't let me post pics. so if you don't mind links.

thank you

Love Boker always, and this one is gorgeous. I like the Damascus pattern and the clean look of the Boker better as well. The other knife is no slouch either, but I vote Boker.

I like the looks of the Boker better. The WH has too much going on with the damascus, the pattern on the handle, the pearl inlay, and the screws. What I do like about the WH is that it's a one hand opener.

I own 4 WH's but I vote for the Boker in this case. Keep in mind the that the F&F of Bokers can be inconsistent, unlike William Henry. But the WH in this case has too much going on visually.

this did not surprise me. this particular wh really is too "busy". so I will get the boker tomorrow. I just couldn't decide but you guys made me look closer. thanks.

I have a William Henry with composite blade using ZDP-189 as the cutting edge. If you look at that blade wrong...it will cut you.

I think we all agreed we did not like the looks of that particular wh. however, sonnydaze you are very correct. I have a number of wh. my favorite is a plain ti b09 with the zdp189 laminated blade. that blade defines scary sharp. being so small and in thickness it is literally like a razor blade. also, unlike others I find it very easy to sharpen on the sharp maker. so long as I do not let it go completely dull. the downside is at that Rockwell and thickness it is quite fragile. I always keep that in mind. I would not cut a wire tie with it. the ones with the zdp 189 Damascus got all scratched up on me. I think it is no secret that wh are lite use knives. furthermore their quality is on par with many customs. it is just that some of them are to "embellished" for real knife guys imo. anyways I paid for the boker and will pick it up in the afternoon.

I personally, find the looks of the Boker to be very becoming, with that being said, that particular WH is a little too gaudy for my taste, and overly ornate IMO. I think you made the right choice.

I just got the boker. it is a nice knife. not flawless but pretty nice nonetheless. it does in fact look much nicer than that wh. I won't be afraid to use it either. it is robust from the looks of it. the handle is over 5". thanks guys. as I said this was the first time in many years I could not decide. the real reason was I had a deal going on the wh but it just was not worth it. I am plenty happy with the boker.
