Which dragonfly should I choose?

I've decided to pickup a dragonfly and carry that around in my pocket.
Now here's the kicker...... Which steel should I choose?

Vg10
H1
Super Blue
Zdp

It's main job will be cutting and breaking down cardboard boxes. Most will be plastic wrapped. Once in a while it might get a little harder use but it's main job is helping around the store.

Thanks guys!

For those cutting chores I would go with SE H1. My favorite is ZDP-189 but cardboard can dull a knife surprisingly quick and the SE H1 will hold an edge for a very long time.

Good to hear! I've been wanting a salt, but was unsure if it would serve a purpose other than down on the coast.

I only have 1... SE H1. I've only had it a few weeks, but I love it so far. That serrated edge is a beast.

Personally, I love the ZDP-189. It holds an edge for an exceedingly long time and is a real pleasure to use. I'm just not as big a fan of the serrated edges. I've got a lot of SE and PS Spydies, and have used them over the years - but I keep coming back to plain edge for my EDC.

I'm partial to a plain edge too. Which ever one I end up with will have a plain edge. If that makes a difference

If you're going plain edge go for the ZDP. The plain edge H1 will be a butter knife after a few weeks cutting cardboard.

I have DF's in ZDP and Super Blue and really like both but based upon the needs described I would also recommend serrated H1 as it is a cardboard box's worst nightmare and I'm not generally big on serrated edges but for this use it really shines. I often carry a Ladybug Salt H1 SE in my pocket that gets cardboard box and rope duty when called upon leaving my primary blade fresh for slicing.

Do the zdp dragonflies only come in green? Seems that is the only color I have found.

Yes. The ZDP only comes in the British Racing Green handles, but it's one of the most attractive FRN handle colors Spyderco offers, IMO.

I was just making sure I wasn't missing any other colors before I pulled the trigger.

im also on board with the frn zdp version, i have one and its incredible, great value cuts like a laser and stays sharp practically forever, i also do love the green handles on it

my next pick would be PE salt version, im thinking about picking one of those up myself
