Which EDC item do you use most each day?

For me, most tasks can be completed with a LM Micra! The Arc AAA comes a close second though.

Edit: excluding spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch! :D
 
Of all the folders I have, and can carry, I always carry my CRKT Mirage Grey Ghost Wharncliff.
I have had this knife for years, and It has taken a beating.
It is still a very smooth, sharp, stout, tough jewell!
I cannot believe CRKT quit making them. :confused:
 
SAK Soldier and Miltec LED on my keychain. I would use both of these 5-10 times plus daily (and nightly). The folder is for occasional use and knifesturbating.
 
Although I always have a SAK and Multi tool on me the blade I always reach for is a unique designed sebbie that I got from ebay. I wouldn't usually do some of the things I do with it but since it came with light scratches I didn't have to worry about putting any on it myself. Very liberating. I use the SAKs screwdrivers as they are more comfy than the multi and the pliers off of the multi. None as much as that sebbie though.
Plus a Surefire E2E for lighting needs. In order of use it would go like:
Sebbie
Surefire, or an Inova which doesn't hold a candle to my Surefire
SAK, Climber I think
Multi, LM, SOG, Gerber, SAK, whatever I pick up that day

Pat Crawford one hand knife and Leatherman Supertool.

I use each at least 20 - 30 times a day minimum.

When I go out and I don't have my Leatherman with me I'm constantly reaching for my belt to grab it, I feel like a piece of me is missing, or like I'm unbalanced without either one.
 
I order of most used:

1) Benchmade 730 Ares
2) Inova X5T
3) Leatherman Wave
4) Surefire E2
5) Bandaids in wallet for Kids scrapped knees and such.

It is nice have what you need, when you need it.

ASP keyring flashlight
Cell phone

I do carry a lot of other stuff but the above mentioned actually gets used daily instead of jsut carried "in case".tom.
 
I have one of those swiss tech mini multi tools on my key ring and use it several times a day. Seems I always need a phillips screw driver for something. Very well made mini tool. As for knives, the small Sebenza in my wallet gets most of the cutting jobs.

My computer gets the most use (yes, I do cary it every day back and forth to work and have it near by most of the time on the weekends so I think it counts as EDC) My watch and keys would come in together at about second.

I know what you were really trying to get at, but the above is true.

For knives/gear/gadgets, I use my spyderco cricket, benchmade 705, and benchmade 806 all about equally but for different types of tasks and my new brass peak 3 led aaa is getting lots of regular use, too.

Come to think of it, my children are pretty close to EDC. I seem to be carying them around a lot and they are great to have around.

Which EDC item do I use the most?

I'd like to say that it's my Benchmade 721s (my "utility folder"), but it's not, and thank god that it's not my Benchmade 805 (my "defensive/offensive folder")...The one that I use the most of my EDC's is my SOG Deluxe Pocket PowerPlier.

I also "use" my wristwatch alot each day, if that counts.:D.
 
The small pen blade on whatever EDC I am carrying at the moment gets more use than anything else.

These days it's a Queen Canoe in Carved Stag Bone.

In order of use

-) Cell phone, wallet, keys - I dont count these cuz its not really the point of this thread. But they all obviously get alot of use
1) Surefire E2e - lately I have been using it quite a bit for all sorts of tasks
2) Kershaw Blur \ Spyderco Delica SS - Mostly I like to just flip em but they do see a cutting tasks as well
3) Arc AAA - perfect for wandering around in dark places. Some tasks do require the extra umph of the Surefire, and the Surefire has a belt clip which is why it gets more usage.
4) SAK - I have the midnight manager II in oynx without the light (I used to have that one but I lost it and didnt find the light useful enough for its replacement). This would get used more if a) I hadn't lost the toothpick and ever bought a replacement pen and b) didn't lose it over the weekend :(

The rest of the list is stuff that I intend to carry everyday, but for a variety of reasons sometime leave at home. (ranked by usefulness)
1) Zippo - I only smoke occasionally but a good flame always comes in handy, especially when a lady needs one :P Fits neatly into the 5th pocket on most jeans too.
2) Leatherman PST II - I bought this used off ebay for the sole purpose of being my EDC multitool (I also have a Wave which stays in my car & a Supertool that stays in my CK Shadow IV tactical sheath for EDC around the house), but I find that threading the sheath for horizontal carry can be a rather tricky chore and can add a few minutes to my getting ready schedule.
3) Chrome Fisher Space Pen - out of ink. I modifed my old wallet to carry it but I switched that up too.
4) Leatherman Squirt EL - just purchased from Radio Shack, still in the packaging. It's a pretty nifty little tool, with wire strippers instead of scissors. I haven't decided wether I wanna give up my EDC scissors though.
5) Metal pill container for advil - a bit too bulky. Maybe I'll get a smaller one...

Future Purchases for EDC
1) Surefire LED light - maybe the L2. I played with these at the store the other day. Nifty little lights.
2) Good butane lighter to replace the Zippo
 
Definately the cell phone. I talk on it more then I should... Haven't gone over with my hours for a while though, thankfully.

My most used EDC item is deffinetly my watch. I'm always checking the time and therefor it's used more then anything else. Current watch is a Seiko 009, but I have an Omega SMP on the way for my birthday :):):)

Next to that it would be my Rotring 600 rollerball and then my knife which is currently a Obenauf mini model 2.
 
I suppose the EDC item I use most is my pen. Normally a Parker jotter with gel ink. As I do a lot of cutting next would be my Spyderco Native S30V.
