Which Endura 4 opens the easiest and fastest? Sabre VG10, FFG colored handles, or ZDP

I'm deciding between the regular endura 4 sabre grind, full flat grind, or the zdp189. Does the different weight in the blade make one open easier than the others? Which one is easiest and fastest to open? Thanks.

Well, the Emerson waved model would probably open the fastest, other than that I doubt it makes any perceptible difference.

Not really makes a difference, the tension spring bar in all the variation are the same. the blade stock thickness are all very similar with the new HAP40 being slightly thinner.

Personally, I would get the ZDP because it can get very very sharp and stay very very sharp for a long time. Or if you can get your hands on one of the new sprint run HAP40 with pumpkin color scale.
Here is a video with a chef knife that uses HAP40.... you will be amazed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSdNOaFf_xs

Luck of the draw...
I received 2 of the same exact Delica. One flickable and the other took some break in time an light oil..
They are both flickable now.

Endura is one of the knives I use most frequently for work. I have both the sabre ground and FFG. I don't know that one opens faster or easier than the other but the sabre seems to open with more authority. I have always attributed this to the blade weight.... 'Though I suppose it could just be slightly different tension from the back spring.
I tend to use the FFG more because of its slicey-ness. When I do carry the sabre, I know it upon opening without looking.

inertia opening should open all the same. maybe the sabre has more blade weight, so might open a touch easier.

Have you ever done this? Because there's no question, the sabre ground blades interia open dramatically easier.
