Which Epoxy for Homegrown Micarta?

Did my first set of homemade Micarta scales today and they seemed to come out allright.
Anyway I used Golf club epoxy which dried hard but does not seem as hard as regular micarta. Sanded well and did take a buff.
Any advice on which is the best Epoxy to use for this application???
Like doing Canvas and grippy stuff.

Try one of the easily available marine/aerospace Like Raka, WEST, System 3. They come in good quantities for the price, they wet out well, and have exceptional hardness, WEST in particular, without being brittle either.
