which Fehrman (large knife advice needed) ?

Hi

Please, I need some good advice. Being a Fehrman Peacemaker owner, I am looking for a larger blade.

What is needed:
- a Fehrman
- larger blade for larger work
- carried in a pack
- if only one knife was carried, it would most likely be a Peacemaker

At the moment I am considering Extreme Judgment and First Strike. But I have no way to try them, so your advice is greatly appreciated.

Both - ej and fs are great blades! I used to have both sold them only because the handles were a bit too big for my small palms. It all depends on what you will be using those blades mostly for. EJ will be a better chopper and spliter (it's heavier and longer). FS will also do those jobs but not as good as EJ. Instead it's lighter and shorter - so much better for pack carrying. Actually EJ was to me too much for a backpack. It lived only around the house.
I preffered the balance on the EJ. Somehow it was better in my handle than FS. But with pack carrying in mind I would go with the FS or the Final Judgement - as it's lighter than EJ.
