Hey guys, I have some money to spend at Going Gear.com and wanted your help desiding which light to get. Going to order some Whistles and Capsules also but I have the figured out, I need some help with the flashlight side of things.

Here are my requirements for the flashlight or lights:

Price: $25 to $60 (prefer $50 or less)
Size: no more then 6.5" long and 1.25" Thick
Batteries: Lithium AAA, AA or CR123A
Runtime: at least 1.5 hours on high/turbo (Multiple modes prefered but not required)
Going Gear must carry it

I'm buying this flashlight for the fun of it and plan to carry it in my Maxpedition M-1 or Blackhawk E&E Pouch. If you have any recommendations they would be apreciated. Thanks,

Heber

If you don't have a headlamp a Zebralight H30 would be a very good start. I use mine all the time and love it.

I bought a Fenix LD20 from GoingGear.com and I love it. I've had it nearly a month and am really happy with the purchase :D

GoingGear.com rocks

After spending a bunch of time yesterday and today reading all the reviews I could find, I went with the iTP C7T Flashlight. Have been planning to buy it from Going Gear for a while now and figured I might as well get it now.

Thanks to those that posted ideas. :) I've added them to my list of lights to get.

How do you carry your H30? When I get mine I hope to attach it to a shoulder strap or vest.

What other lights do you have that you could compare it to? Got any pictures? Thanks,

Heber

The LD20 is about the same size as a 2 x AA MagLite. I prefer flashlights that are programmable, like the ones from Jetbeam, but a lot of customers prefer the simplicity that Fenix's preset levels give you.

To picture an LD20, imagine a 2 x AA MagLite, but about five times brighter and a beam that doesn't look like crap. :)

I like to use it with the head band because it puts the light just where you want it. I use it in low the most as close area lighting and have one of my other lights handy if needed for something at a distance. Its extremely comfortable and so lite it's hardly noticed.
