Which folder is the easiest to disassemble/reassemble?

Thank you. I'm going to purchase a Sebenza. I have an old Elishewitz Benchmade that has been my EDC for about 20 years.

There is a folder with, what is called field strip technology. That is supposed to be able to be disassembled by hand.

I have no personal experience with it.

Umnumzaan & Inkosi, large or small. Easier than a Sebenza. Reassembles like a sandwich with only 2 fasteners, pivot and standoff. With the Inkosi's in particular, the stop post acts as a positioner for the scale.

Agreed, the Inkosi is much easier to reassemble than the Sebenza (which isn't hard at all); but there is little chance of a pinched washer.

Thank you for your responses, very helpful. I just watched some video's on reassembling the Inkosi and the Sebenza. I'm not a knife collector, but need a great EDC I can use day to day. For 20 years I have been using the same Benchmade, but not easy for me to reassemble after taking it apart to clean.

If you can deal with the initial purchase price, you will not find a better knife to use daily and maintain than a current Inkosi in MagnaCut - whichever size suits you. And if ever desired, the folks back in Boise will refresh it with their "spa" service to basically new looking condition. Even ships with quality Wiha wrenches for disassembly as well as CRK grease and Loktite for the hardware - so clearly Chris Reeve Knives is favorable to disassembly for maintenance.

Well, the truth is I have been drooling over Chris Reeve Knives for many years. I have a feeling it will serve me well. Thanks again!
Welcome to BFC O olliebass , it didn’t take long to convince you that a CRK is the knife you need based on your description. In fact, I’d guess you were just looking for affirmation on something you already decided. ;)
Don’t be a one hit wonder, post pics when you get your knife, your thoughts/satisfaction with your purchase, and pop over to the CRK sub forum to show off your CRK.

I will do that! And Thank You for the welcome. 😊
