Need to do some batoning - which folder should I use?

Nice katanaboy. you will be amazed at what that blade can do to a tree, even beech, it makes oak seem like pine imo. Silky makes a hell of a saw.
 
Make it a real challenge. Use a Case Peanut!
 
I would say you need the kind of folder that uses gasoline, or maybe has an electric cord.

For batonning the smaller stuff, I would suggest the cheapest blade from your local gas station. That way when it breaks you haven't lost much.
 
Get an axe and go all "I'm lumberjack" on it and swing the bucked logs over your shoulder lol. Seriously love that silky katanaboy though :thumbup:

I think you'll find that the apropriate saw is more in line with the silkyboy. SAK's are useful but most of us would never claim we could use it for such a purpose.
