which forum for knife repair questions

I found an old craftsman fixed blade with stacked leather handle that is beyond repair. I'd like to replace the stacked leather, but have some questions about removing and reattaching the butt/pommel, and probably will have more questions along the way. Which forum would be most appropriate for such questions? Thanks!!!

KaBar makes a kit to replace a leather washer handle. It is probably a good place to start.
