I am looking seriously at getting a G-shock. There are so many models out there. Which would you recommend?

Whatever you do, don't buy the Wademan model. The face is just too small to see in even dim light, and never mind really low light.
There are some really nice models on ebay right now, but the price always seems to rise too far, due to straw or shill bidding, or maybe just stupidity...either way, the result is the same.
Take a look at the place I bought my Gaussman from, as they have some pretty good prices.

Costco & BJ's Wholesale clubs both have Gshocks at reasonable prices, and usually a couple of different models to choose from. If you can, take a peak there.
As an aside, I saw a Seiko Kinetic Titanium (not autorelay), WR to 100M, there for $180 - all gray except for a gold ring around the bezel.
