I’m really wanting to acquire a GEC, you all know the difficulty in that….

It will be a daily carry user, I really want a two blade model in the 3.5in-4in closed range. Particularly drawn to the eureka jack, I know it has half stops, but I really want one. Not opposed to another pattern if it fits that general criteria, bonus points if it has a cam tang.

Watching the classified here regularly, but most of the patterns that I want are sold within a minute of being posted.
I used to have one or two GEC back when they were newer and readily available, now kicking myself for trading or selling them.

So which patterns should I be on the lookout for? There has been a time or two recently where one came up for sale and by the time I googled it to find the size, it was sold in the amount of time it took me to find that info lol.

Not a fan of bear traps, that’s why I sold or traded the GECs I used to have over a decade ago.

The 81 Coon Skinner muskrat pattern is a 2 blade 4" knife with no half stops.

The 56 Bird Dog has no half stops and I believe there was a 2-blade version.

I'm not familiar with their models enough to know what I desire. I want a 4" serpentine jack though. I don't want an inlay of a beaver or a buzzard or a opossom on it. So... yeah. I doubt that'll ever happen though because I'm happy with Case, so I been on the hunt for a 92 pattern from them. Carbon steel preferred. But those are a mite scarce too.

I will have to do some research once I’m off work using that chart.
