I would like to compare the boss Jack/ boss street handle to the active duty. I have average sized hands and felt the boss handle just a little thin. Would the active duty have a little more to hang on to. Thanks in advance.

Looks like your in the right place now! :)

Its a tough call, the handles on the Boss Street and Boss Jack feel small to me as well. The Active Duty feels just right in my hands, but put them both together and they are nearly the same size. I think it comes down to ergonomics and the AD wins hands down.

I'll take a comparison pic today if you want to see them side by side.

Leatherman hit the nail on the head. They aren't that different size wise, but the AD handle has better ergonomics IMO. Give me a minute and I'll put up a side-by-side.

Here we go. Sorry for the poor pics. The AD handle feels a bit better in hand because of the rounded butt. It feels like it fills your hand more, even though the size of the two handles isn't much different. I do like the BJ and Boss Street a lot, but I absolutely love the AD & BAD.

The AD is my all time favorite EDC size knife. That said, theres a few different blade styles with that EDC handle so your choices are wide. Meaner Street, Active Duty, Mini Sus Scrofa, Pork Belly Skinner, and to a lesser effect the Game Wardens, though they are slightly smaller and feel totally different in hand. I know I am missing a few, but just cant think of them. Also there are so many variations of each type of blade as well, kind of makes a nifty collector niche all its own.

I have a "Heavy Duty" that is my go to carry knife when I dont have my Assault Shaker. Its well used and shows every bit of it.

Thanks to flux for getting those pics up, I cant get my camera to cooperate today to save my life. :p :o
