Which HI Khukuri has the thickest blade?

It really all depends on the Kami that makes it my CAK is about 3/8ths of an inch thick, but I've heard of people getting up to half an inch. Hopefully someone with more will chime in.
 
Both my AK and CAK are 1/2", that beast Mr. Wallace is holding is the thickest I think I ever laid eyes on. If I didn't see the thickness I'd say it was a Foxy Folly but they are usually thin and light, just broad and cool looking just like that one.

kilroy is correct, they can vary some depending on who makes it.
 
Good grief that is a Beautful BRUTE Mr. Wallace has posted! So pretty and so big, I don't think I could even get a grip on that handle, but I would be all in favor of owning it.

From what I can tell 1/2 inch is pretty much the largest of the standard production blades with extra style points going to the custom beasts for basically whatever you are able to arrange with Auntie to have a Kami make for you.

Another one I keep coming back to look at, man that thing is an absolute beast but what a lovely beast.
Now back to look at Ndogs pair of Giant Bowies, then I'll be back.

The knife in the picture is Kami Sherpa's. I think he keeps it around just to show what kind of things HI can do. I don't know the specs.

Man! Thats downright gorgeous! That must be an older one? Its got three extra inches on it and choless. That deep fuller at the shoulder is so cool!:thumbup:
 
I was going between that bowie and the bonecutter avail at RG until I made up my mind on the bonecutter. Still trying to find a way to ship it outside the border though.

Great news too, I found a ticket home for that Bonecutter. I'm finally going to own one!!!
EDIT: The BC doesn't seem to be available anymore. Fk! :mad:

OOPS! Lets just say that the Bonecutter that RG HAD available sorta/kinda ended up being charged to my husbands paypal account ;)
