I'm looking for a cheap radio for ballgames and SW exploring when I'm out of the city.
The Jwin is around $15 and the Grundig is on sale for $27 at Restoration Hardware. I'm strictly interested in AM broadcasts. Both seem to be excellent values.

Grundig makes good gear. Be warned, SW can be addictive!
If you get a decent set, you can pick up all kinds of good stuff.

Hello, check out ccrane.com they have alot of the top qaulity equip. I really like the Sangean and Grundig.

I really can't afford a nice radio at the moment. I bought a cheapie $5 am/fm for when I'm in the hospital but the AM reception is really bad. ($5 a day for TV is not worth it to me)
I've found out the Jwin looks like the kaide kk9702.
Who knows? I may get both at least with the purchase at restoration hardware if it's not what I expected, I can return it.

I ran down to my local Restoration Hardware store after seeing what a great price they had on that Grundig radio. I verified the price on their internet site as well. I got down there and did not see any on display. I was told they had some in the back. However when I asked if the price was the same 26.99 they had listed on their website the clerk checked it and said no it must be back at the regular 39.99. I asked if they priced differently than their website and was told that they do.

I further checked their website and found this under pricing,

Are the prices the same on your website as in your stores?

We make every attempt to have consistent pricing throughout our stores, our catalog, and our website. In the event you find a discrepancy in pricing, please email us immediately.

I did send an email but it still pissed me off.
