which is more durable on a busse

im going to order a busse hell razor (my first busse). and i wanted to know which was more durable. G-10 or canvas micarta. I have a chris reeve neil roberts knife and i like the feel of micarta but i tends to be hard on things and i have a feeling that id end up cracking the micarta. thanks in advance.

I doubt youd end up cracking the micarta but the knife has a lifetime warranty so why worry about it.

You would have to have one heck of a mechanical advantage to crack micarta.

It is used in many industrial applications like anchoring big generators and the like.

For long term, I'll stick with micarta, but to be honest, I haven't researched G-10 durability.

Neither are gonna fail you as a handle material, but I remember reading that G10 is stronger than micarta.

Strength might be important, but, for me, grippiness is the deciding factor. I’ll take micarta every time.

Micarta... I just like the feel better. Have plenty of folders in G-10. No complaints about it's toughness but when it comes to feel and looks, I'll take micarta anyday.

Go with the Micatra. The ends of the canvas fibers stick out a bit and give it super grip when you hold it in your hand.
