This is not a versus thread, I want to know which model sells more? This would include sprint runs.

Seems that the major competition to the Para2 is the Manix2, but which remains the King in sales?

Not counting pre-orders/backorders I would guess currently it would be the Manix, but only because of availability.

Interesting thread and topic. Just a thought, you might want to tighten up your question. Are you looking for dealer sales volume or Spyderco overall? National vs international? Ect. Not sure there are many that could give a specific answer.
I am curious why you ask?
Are you a dealer or thinking of becoming one?

I was just thinking of this yesterday while fondling my M4 Manix 2 and CTS-20CP Para 2. I've been wondering which normal production and sprint run models have been more successful when comparing the two. Interesting topic.

Regular hollow ground manix2 versus regular black satin pm2... Ive gotta go with the one that is sold out.

As for sprints, they all sell out so its a tie.

I would say the Para 2. I don't think they can make them fast enough for demand.

The fact that you can easily order a Manix 2 but a Para 2 is light a unicorn sighting should tell you all you need to know. I don't think it's because they make more Manix 2's than Para 2's.

I own the Manix family, but not the Para. I was wondering as any time someone asks about the ParaMilitary 2 vs. Manix 2 there is a pretty even split. I'm not a dealer, or thinking of being one, but was just wondering how the recommendations I see translate into one selling more than the other. I was more interested in overall US domestic, as both are made in Golden.

I also believe both are fantastic examples of Sal and Eric's designing, probably at the top of the sub 100 dollar mark.
