Which is Stronger-Buck/Strider folder or Emerson '98?

Hmm, I would have to say the Buck/Strider. I think it is just "beefier" all the way around: thicker blade, thicker liners and such.

Hmmmm, i remember that when i finally had a chance to examine the Lg. Buck/Strider at a local shop a few weeks ago, i was very impressed at how beefy and strong it is, truly built like a tank, and yet, just today, i got to handle a real Strider folder, a GB, and folks, i cant believe it, but it makes the Buck version seem like a flimsy toy, the large Strider folders are truly in a class by themselves, they are GIANT knives, and most tanks would do well to be built this way. :) Of course, after seeing this knife, i feel that you may as well carry a fixed blade because this is one folding knife where youre not really saving any room by carrying a folder. I still think everyone should have one just to experience the KING of all folders. Its scary. :) A VERY impressive, if not wholly practical folding knife. Very cool.

Get the Buck/Strider = strength, thicker liner, gripper G-10, not chisle ground, better fit & finish, lower price

You can probably get a AR/GB for the price of a 98 commander.
